本日、ある作業でBackupExecを使用することになりました。バックアップ関連の作業を効率化したいということでPowerShellを使用した改善を提案する予定です。
早速、BackupExec21の評価版を使って検証を開始しました。

BackupExec21を検証機にインストールし、「Get-BECommand」でどのようなコマンドレットがあるか確認するとかなりの数がありました。長すぎるので一部のみ抜粋しています。

・・・現状ではバックアップの成否チェックに管理コンソールを使用していますが、PowerShellを使えばもっと楽にチェックできると思っています。コマンドレットを見ると、「Get-BEJobHistory」なるものがあるので、これを使えば良さそうです。
WindowsOSだけではなく各種ツールもPowerShellで操作できると本当に便利ですね。PowerShellを使えるようにしておくと仕事の幅が大きく広がると思います。
